Biofeedback is standard practice in sports performance and is used by physiotherapists to help re-train an injured muscle or perhaps after surgery. Its proven effectiveness has made it an accepted medical technique for decades.
For example; you can learn how to control muscle tension if you have a sensor showing you exactly how tense you are, when you are relaxing, and by how much.
Neurofeedback is biofeedback of the brain or neurons. It’s a way of training your own brain function.
